with Sophie Rosso, CEO of Yci Santé

Expanding access to healthcare in priority neighbourhoods

Sophie Rosso began her career as a real estate developer at Bouygues Immobilier and Quartus, before joining Paris City Hall’s team as an advisor. In 2021, she became deputy director at Redman. But her life took a completely different turn when her youngest son fell ill. She then discovered, from the inside, the pediatric oncology department at La Timone Hospital in Marseille. She became a caregiver. She learned. She saw the inequalities.

From this experience, she gained a skill that reoriented her career. In early 2025, she joined Yci Santé with a simple idea: to reduce inequalities in access to healthcare. How? By building, renovating, and opening a large number of multi-purpose health centers. These are modern, useful, non-profit facilities designed for the long term. The goal: to address the shortage of healthcare in the most vulnerable neighborhoods, where access to a doctor is still an uphill battle. She’s the best person to tell you what happened next!
