As the first tertiary wood IGH in France and among the world’s tallest wooden buildings, Crédit Mutuel’s project takes as its emblem the sustainable city of tomorrow and affirms its civic identity. It marks the skyline of the entrance to the Wacken district and its crystalline silhouette crowned with vegetation dialogue with the neighboring European Parliament. The volume of the building is visually composed of 2 volumes gathered around a green landscaped heart, and its cut-off headdresses accentuating the perception of verticality. Modular and totally flexible, the work trays offer differentiated spaces, completely free from partitioning and arranged according to the principle of Flex Office, or partitioned, or transformed into meeting rooms. True innovation in an IGH in France, the wood structure is visible and creates a warm and comfortable working atmosphere.
