Vector-borne diseases site building, Darré Borrel Plot, Pasteur Institute in Paris

Conveying the image of the Pasteur Institute and modernising its Paris complex, the new vector-borne diseases site will be regarded as a benchmark of excellence, of national as well as international renown. Hosting laboratories, tertiary and technical areas, this angled building, structured around its own atrium, it allows a new access to rue Falguière, connecting the old buildings. Its layered composition – plinth, building body and crowning – suits its Parisian buildings. At the top, walk-in plant-filled terraces ensure relaxation and inspiration moments, allowing panoramic views over the capital. With its high-performance double-skin façade and compact design, the building meets E3/C1 label guidelines.
