Renovation of the Hélio Marin Centre in Vallauris

A true architectural heritage piece of work, the Hélio-Marin Centre overlooks the bays of Cannes and Antibes, in a privileged setting that guarantees well-being and relaxation. The 1930s architecture’s restoration of the Rotunda has brought back the elegance and opulence of its original modenature. On the south-facing facade, the stepped glass panels are set back as they were in 1934, to be naturally protected from the sun. All the activities spread out from the core of lifts: in the Rotunda, the day hospital activities fit perfectly in the highly sculpted architecture of the 1930s.

At the Hélio Marin Centre in Vallauris, each room bears a remarkable feature. They all enjoy magnificent views over the pine forest and the Place du Lieu de Vie, and are often provided with a balcony. All other rooms allow sea-views. Spacious, their design is conducive to a sober, up-to-date feeling. The terraces have been made as wide as they were in 1934, year of the building’s first construction. The retractable bay windows enable fresh air and light to enter.
