Between large business parks, sprawling urbanisation and the Crau plain, the Village Santé is helping to redefine the entrance to the town of Salon-de-Provence. Its density and urban structure clarify the context, offering a new façade for the town and creating a harmonious balance between town and countryside. Windbreak hedges preserved to the south and north of the site form the backdrop to the village. The mobility hub, with its two green façades, is a new landmark in the Salon landscape. It clearly marks the entrance to the Village Santé and comfortably welcomes residents from neighbouring towns who arrive by car. The ground floor, punctuated by the stone structure, naturally accompanies those arriving by bus. It is a civic space that allows everyone to easily access the hospital. Each entity in the village is designed as a large pavilion, organised around an interior garden or patio. The new hospital consists of four care pavilions connected by the staff house. The public health square forms the heart of the village.
